kind of a resolution
Dec 31, '07 12:03 AM
for you
today, my Melliza-Mina cousins (with their spouses and kids, of course), my sister, eljin and i went out for some ice cream at that Nestle Creamery place. we had a lot of fun because we had four very young kids with us, one who is not so young, and there was a very good ball pit. you just can't stop the fun when the young and the young at heart get together after a long time eating vast quantities of ice cream, fries and pizza.
we then went to UP to digest our meal... and eat some more. walang isaw at kwek kwek. this made me very sad, but we had fun running around the sunken garden, eating fish balls, squid balls and kikiam. we even walked to the bahay/balay? ng alumni to pee, hehe.
we went to my cousins' parents' house which wasn't far from here. i was, of course, with Patrick, my 4th year high school nephew. since we were kids, we did a lot of crap together: played with mud, killed giant spiders, pissed my younger sister off, flew kites, and, one of our favorites, rode our bikes.
stuff about me and my bikes:
i rode them very well, i beat my brother everytime. (he's 5 years older than me)
i took care of my bikes, i washed them as my dad washed his cars.
i used to ride them all the time at our old street just for the sake of it.
tonight Patrick said we should go biking. but we only had his (since we moved i mine got rusty and broke). he said "ako sa pipidal, ikaw magsteer"
haha! i never thought that "stunt" was that easy! anyhoo, after that, we took turns riding on our own. and, omg, it was so great! i felt like how i imagined Harry Potter felt riding his broomstick after being locked up by the dursleys! the wind in my hair! hehe!
so that's that, my resolution is to ride bikes again just for the sake of it! and mas mahalaga yung realization that i so loved riding bikes! there were a lot of stuff i loved as a kid but let go of as i grew old (when will i grow up?) and biking is one of the most wonderful ones. biking and basketball and i'm on my way to my dream health!
after nito kumain kami ng balut at chicharon at nagkwentuhan (so much for healthy living). and i know it's emo but i so feel bad because Patrick and his family are migrating to New Zealand this coming April. their dad, my cousin, is already there, settling stuff. so sad because i'm really close to their family (i used to come over a lot). Joshua, his younger brother, always told me stupid grade school, now high school, stories and Ayesha, his younger sister, is my only godchild besides Eljin. plus, that's one whole gift gone come Christmas, hehe.
