finals week

at last, my worst sem in the Ateneo has ended. it didn't go easy though, still, there's still a lingering feeling from the dreaded finals week. i still don't know if i failed Fil14, still hoping that i got B's in CS152a and Ph101, but worse of all, i know i'm gonna get something Cplusee in CS123. grr, isa-isahin natin.

sunday, i started reading for the Hi165 final. damn, 2 chapters for Fr. Arcilla, 13 chapters from Fr. Schumacher and we'll ba asked to answer 2 questions, 1 from each book! of course, i got bored. play around with jino, read, got bored, talked with my sister, read, got tired, slept, woke up, watched friends... well, the point is, i didn't really get anywhere. sooo...

monday, i woke up at around 6. being the morning person that i am, i started reading Fr. Arcilla. then, i read Mel's notes on Fr. Schumacher. at around 12, i was at chapter 7, i stopped reading and started studying for CS152a. i got stuck on a stupid CMOS problem for like 2 hours, only then did i accept defeat and proceeded to the other topics. until like 11 in the evening, i studied for CS and read for histo, salitan.

tuesday, i arrived early, as usual... kerry, i saw your chu! nakapag-usap rin kami indirectly pero short lang! ay naku girl, miss na kita! Dra. Santos gave me the white blue book, ang boom, wala akong alam! well, not really walang alam pero wala akong gamay sa mga tanong niya! so i took a shot at the La Liga Filipina and the Jovellar questions. i went to faura and saw Miggy printing their deliverable, i also went with him to the ORP, which was closed. then, we went to our CTC lab to meet lorenz and donna to print and bind our deliverable... Intermatrix was our only option for binding if we wanted to submit the deliverable on time, so Donna, Miggy, Wendy ang i went there. inulan pa kami pabalik ng school! so at the caf, i was cramming the topics i haven't studied for. 152 test was fairly easy. but i had to take a guesses at the stacks questions worth 10points. i had to get 95/120 to get a B. so there... i misspelled compulsory as compulsary... and i had to check the handouts now to know which is right. nagpapirma pa kami ng deliverable pagkatapos, pero corni na yun... Tanya and i went to nica's house to dub for the fil project, Carmel was there too. we were so excited by the ideas we were having. so got started with it when i got home (tatay, nanay and eljin picked me up! weeh).

wednesday, i was done editting the echos for the narration. tanya was sending me the slides for our pseudo-video. but after she uploaded the tenth, she stopped. nakautlog! when i woke up at eight because of a ding from her, i crammed the video. so much for the powerpoint idea. i got some sleep then reviewed for 123 that afternoon and compiled the case analysis paper that night!

thursday, i arrived early, again. corni rin itong araw na ito pala! i took the 123 test... which was harder than i expected. went to AAA to interview sir JQ, for the implementation of our final project. lorenz and i emptied our lockers and donna returned her PHP book.

friday, namilosopiya ako para masagot ang tesis ng paghahamon ni sir Roy, natulog para magpahinga, pero ang araw na ito ay ginugol ko sa pamimilosopiya. sapagkat ang pilosopiya ay ginagawa.

saturday, tatay, nanay and Kleng dropped me off at dela Costa at around 10 to 10 (maaga nga talaga ako lagi!!!) they were going to wait for me since i'll be done by 10:45. i ran into sir who said "o, 10:30 pa ha..." Iya arrived after 25 minutes or so. she got the slot after mine. i was really nervous for the orals, i was ready naman. we almost went to Sta. Lucia but kuya Pei was puking at home from eating a bad ensaymada so we went home. Kleng and i went with my sister and jino na lang to the mall. nanay and tatay wanted to stay with my disgusting brother. so at the mall, we went to the big play house for jin. kuya Baret met us there. siya yung boyfriend ng ate ko. Kleng got herself a flash disk and i got me an MP3 player! yey! we looked for stuff for jino's Go! Diego, Go! costume for halloween. we made him a rescue pack when we got home!

sunday, started the day by going to mass as usual. nagcode na.

monday, still coding! wala na akong kinakausap na hindi ko groupmate na hindi tungkol sa systems! haha! sorry  sa mga tao...

tuesday, i arrived at school at 7:30... i have just received a text message from donna, saying that she just woke up! wendy was gonna be late too. i ate breakfast at caf, sad loser. i called lorenz who was still at NLEX daw, SLEX kaya yun... haha! had no idea where steph was. good thing i saw the loyola bulletin[?], finally i had something to do (read!!! wtf!). presentation time. damn it.  none of us knew this was a presentation! we got delayed because we can't use the projector. all the time, we were preparing for a defense, so we were, polishing our scripts, trying to make the system work, getting ready for the demo. instead, we got a lecture on how we should try to sell our product. damn it! good systems sell themselves, why do you think sir JQ was so excited about the system? palibhasa, hindi niya kayang gawin yung ginawa ni donna sa system namin, kaya bitter siya. kaya wala na lang kwenta yung system namin dahil hindi namin nabenta. maybe that's why she never taught us to write scripts in this class. way to ruin for us who were happy about how our system turned out to be.

• anyhoo, here are some of the things that sort of brightened the week!
• i realized how much i liked sir diy, despite his overflowing geekiness, he has a good personality and he does have social skills.
• i found the 152 final fairly easy, 'nuff said.
• our fil project was accepted with no deductions because we were wrongly informed that the deadline was 10am. we submitted at around 11[?], real deadline was at 12nn.
• i got an A from ma'am Bellen for our Batang Rizal paper!! 92 from Bellen, baby!!!!
• got to bond with my course friends again! and donna, being irritated that i knew almost anything she asked me about CS123!
• tatay, nanay and jino picked me up at school after i emptied my locker just as it started to rain! bumisita kami sa dating bahay at sa isko dahil sinundo si kleng! it was nice to be back, the street seemed shorter somehow..
• clang texted me, haha!! just to say that may MINA empire dati sa Japan, nabasa niya sa encyclopedia 2 years ago! haha! i miss my lil sis! sana nababasa mo ito!
• eljin. haha! i got to play in the big play house because binantayan ko siya. and everything about him na rin! haha! hayds, marunong na siya kumanta! swear! yung may tono na! ama namin pa yung song!
